Why KEMP needs your support

At KEMP Hospice, our services are provided free of charge to our patients and their families. Each year approximately seven weeks running costs are funded by the Primary Care Trust, so the remaining forty five weeks are funded by the good nature of the local community.

The cost of running our specialist service increases year on year, for 2008-2009 the Hospice's operating costs are expected to be in excess of £600,000.

As an individual you can;

• Become part of a fundraising group

• Hold fundraising events
• Invite a fundraiser to come and speak to your group or organisation
• Form a fundraising group
• Form a ‘partnership in service’ with KEMP

Kemp Hospice
As a business you can;
• Make KEMP your ‘Charity of the Year’
• Sponsor one of our fundraising events
• Hold a ‘team-bonding’ day or ‘fun day’ with the proceeds being donated to KEMP
• Staff can help by volunteering at one of our fundraising events
• Make an annual donation in support of KEMP Hospice
• Take part in our ‘Christmas Cards in lieu’ scheme
