Mark and Danielle (Mark’s niece) have decided to take on the challenge of a parachute jump on Saturday 2nd June to raise money for KEMP Hospice as a thank you for the help their family received through the worst period of their lives.
Mark’s Mum, Gwen had been fighting cancer for 5 years and Sharon, (Mark’s sister and Danielle’s Mum) had been a great support to her. Gwen was also supported by KEMP Hospice during this time. Gwen sadly passed away on 31st May 2010.
A year before Gwen’s death, on 1st June 2009 Sharon phoned her place of work saying she would not be in that day due to a bad headache. Fifty minutes later she had died from a sudden brain Haemorrhage.
