This therapy encourages patients to express themselves in a variety of creative ways, using different media, like watercolours, fabric painting, glass and ceramic painting, sewing and cooking.
Patients who have never considered themselves “artistic” before have been totally absorbed and inspired by taking part in this therapy and have produced beautiful things for themselves and their families.
KEMP has most recently produced a large mural and art exhibition called “Endless Change” with the help of an Xpressions grant, which many patients were involved in. This exhibition is an example of how creative therapy can help those facing life limiting illness, laugh, live, express themselves and create beautiful things.
