WHAT DO YOU DO AT KEMP?
My role at KEMP consists of counselling clients that have suffered a bereavement or are living with a life limited illness. I also develop and manage the KEMP Support groups as well and manage the outreach programme for KEMP. This work includes working at GP practices, local residential homes and Kidderminster Hospital.
WHY DID YOU START WORKING/VOLUNTEERING AT KEMP?

WHY DO YOU THINK KEMP IS SPECIAL?
KEMP offer a safe and supported environment for anybody that is struggling to manage their emotions during loss. We offer a non-judgemental and supportive place to explore their thoughts and fears when contemplating the new world without those that meant so much to them.
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF WORKING AT KEMP?
Job satisfaction knowing that I have made a positive impact on a client’s perception of the world in which they now sit.
WHAT DIFFERENCE DO YOU THINK KEMP MAKES TO THE COMMUNITY OF THE WYRE FOREST?
KEMP offer the Wyre Forest community an opportunity to grieve for their loved ones, understand their loss, and then the emotional/practical support to move forward with life their changing losses that can have a negative impact on other relationships and areas of life.
