Bank Staff Nurse & Complementary Therapist
WHAT DO YOU DO AT KEMP?
I work as a bank nurse and co-ordinate the complementary therapy service. I also do some of the complementary therapy home visits.
WHY DID YOU START WORKING / VOLUNTEERING AT KEMP?
I have always really enjoyed working within patient care settings. KEMP’s values really appealed to my own values as a nurse so I was really keen to join the KEMP team.
WHY DO YOU THINK KEMP IS SPECIAL?
I am very passionate about giving patients and their families the best possible care and the attention they deserve at such a difficult time. KEMP’s holistic approach has always allowed me to deliver this care to all of our patients and their families.
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF WORKING AT KEMP?
I get a sense that we are really improving patients and their family members/loved ones quality of life.
WHAT DIFFERENCE DO YOU THINK KEMP MAKES TO THE COMMUNITY OF THE WYRE FOREST?
KEMP makes a big difference to the community of the Wyre Forest because it is the ‘hub’ of palliative care services within the Wyre forest, a small building but a very large wealth of knowledge, specialism and expertise within its walls!
