WHAT DO YOU DO AT KEMP?
I am the day hospice physiotherapist. I assess and treat patients who attend day hospice. Myself and Lisa the occupational therapist often do joint home visits.
WHY DID YOU START WORKING / VOLUNTEERING AT KEMP?
I had been interested in working in palliative care and following a career break the opportunity arose for me to work at KEMP hospice.
WHY DO YOU THINK KEMP IS SPECIAL?
The staff and volunteers are all very committed to the day hospice patients. It has a really lovely friendly atmosphere.
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF WORKING AT KEMP?
I really enjoy working as part of a team in day hospice, we have a variety of activities and therapies to offer.
WHAT DIFFERENCE DO YOU THINK KEMP MAKES TO THE COMMUNITY OF THE WYRE FOREST?
KEMP makes a big difference to the community of the Wyre Forest.
