Biography

WHAT DO YOU DO AT KEMP?

I work in the Fundraising department as a Database Administrator.
My role is varied and no two days are the same.  I process donations received into KEMP Hospice and administer donors onto our donor database.   I use the information in the database to help shape fundraising strategies such as targeting demographic groups or postcodes based on previous trends.

WHY DID YOU START WORKING/VOLUNTEERING AT KEMP?

I started at KEMP as a volunteer whilst I working part time as a Primary teacher.  I started in the Family Support Team and then moved into the Fundraising Team.  I quickly decided that a career at KEMP was my preferred career choice.

WHY DO YOU THINK KEMP IS SPECIAL?

I don’t think I have ever been made to feel as valued as I do working at KEMP Hospice.  We are a small organisation but we have a huge heart and make a massive difference to people’s lives.

WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF WORKING AT KEMP?

I feel that I am contributing to a  great organisation that is so valued in our local area.

WHAT DIFFERENCE DO YOU THINK KEMP MAKES TO THE COMMUNITY OF THE WYRE FOREST?

Since joining the KEMP family I realised just how many people’s lives are touched by KEMP Hospice.  KEMP is a first point of contact and will help everyone to find the right support.
