WHAT DO YOU DO AT KEMP?
Health care support worker day hospice and Kemp for carers. This means I support the patients in day hospice and also out in the community when required. I also stand in for the creative therapist when they are off as I'm very creative.
WHY DID YOU START WORKING / VOLUNTEERING AT KEMP?
I started working for KEMP in 2016 as a hospice at home worker (now KEMP for Carers) and started in the day hospice in Jan 2017.
WHY DO YOU THINK KEMP IS SPECIAL?
KEMP is a very special place. It offers so much to the local community and is a workplace for a fantastic group of staff.
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF WORKING AT KEMP?
KEMP is an amazing place to work. I get to work with a wide range of people and patients who very quickly become part of the KEMP family. I get the opportunity to combine both passions of caring and creativity and dressing up! Its a fun, warm and welcoming place.
WHAT DIFFERENCE DO YOU THINK KEMP MAKES TO THE COMMUNITY OF THE WYRE FOREST?
KEMP provides a much needed service to the people of the wyre forest, it encompasses so many aspects of care and support. It is there for people at the darkest times and brings light, happiness and fun. I love it here.
