Celebrate a Sustainable Christmas with Merry Thriftmas

3rd December 2025

Have you thought about shopping sustainably this Christmas? With unique, pre-loved gifts in all our shops, we’re celebrating a Merry Thriftmas!

This festive season, join us in celebrating Merry Thriftmas — a campaign from the Charity Retail Association to encourage second-hand gifting, upcycled decorations, and sustainable Christmas shopping.

Our charity shops are packed with unique, pre-loved gifts, from cosy jumpers and books to toys and homeware, perfect for anyone looking for something special and thoughtful.

Can’t get out, or don’t fancy facing the crowds? Did you know we have a shop on eBay so you can still support KEMP as you shop from your sofa? Take a look at our latest listings.

Sending Christmas cards? Make them extra special and pick up a box of KEMP Christmas cards in our shops. Proceeds raised in the sale of these cards will support KEMP Hospice and we have a range of beautiful local designs too!

Need more chairs for the table? If you’re looking forward to a big gathering this Christmas, our furniture shop has a range of chairs that will add those extra seats.

Shopping at charity shops isn’t just kind to your wallet – it’s kind to the planet too. By choosing upcycled and second-hand gifts, you can:

  • Reduce waste and environmental impact 🌍
  • Discover one-of-a-kind treasures 🎁
  • Support your local community through supporting KEMP Hospice ❤️

Every purchase helps to support KEMP Hospice and the free of charge care and support services we provide to people across the Wyre Forest. For example:

  • £7.50 could pay for a patient to enjoy a healthy, nutritious meal whilst they are with us at Day Hospice. This meal enables them to spend an entire day at the hospice, growing friendships round the dining table and getting the balanced diet they need to help with their illnesses.
  • £21.00 could pay for Complementary Therapy sessions for our patients, offering vital well-being and pain relief for individuals managing difficult life-limiting conditions.
  • £52.00 could pay for a full session of specialised bereavement support for children as young as 5. Our counselling team ensures every child gets the help they need and provides vital support for these young individuals.

Come and visit us in one of our shops in Kidderminster (Town Centre and Spennells), Bewdley, Stourport and Hagley.

Every item you buy, or donate, really does help to make a difference for the children, young people and adults across the Wyre Forest that we support.
