What furniture do we sell?

You’ll find a wide range of quality pre-loved furniture which has been kindly donated by KEMP Hospice supporters including:

Wardrobes
Sofas
Cabinets
Tables
Chairs
Lamps, Pictures, Mirrors, Occasional Furniture

All money raised from shop sales goes directly to support KEMP Hospice and the adults, young people and children across the Wyre Forest who access our services.

Are there any restrictions on donating furniture?

If you’re thinking of donating an item of furniture to KEMP Hospice, it may help you to know, all upholstered furniture items must have a manufacturers fire label attached. It is a legal requirement to ensure the safety of the item for the new purchaser.

Furniture Fire Label Example:

The fire label on your item of upholstered furniture must still be attached to the item you are donating. An example of the fire label can be seen in the image opposite.

Your label must have the Batch number included to ensure it is compliant with health & safety requirements for resale.

Your furniture may also have a fire resistant label attached. Though this is great to keep on the item, unfortunately it is not the fire label we need on the furniture.

Are there any furniture / household items you cannot accept?

We are always incredibly grateful when you think of KEMP Hospice for your donations however, there are a small number of furniture and household items we are unfortunately unable to accept.

These items include:

Upholstered furniture without a a manufacturers fire safety label
Re-upholstered furniture
Beds / Sofa beds
Used mattresses, pillows, quilts and sleeping bags
Fridges, washing machines and microwaves
Children’s cots, cribs, bassinets & high chairs
