Taking on Snowdon in aid of KEMP Hospice

27th April 2022

KEMP Hospice supporters, Lucy and Sarah, are taking on 7 miles of Mount Snowdon in a walking challenge to raise vital funds for the Wyre Forest charity.

KEMP Hospice supporters, Lucy and Sarah, are taking on 7 miles of Mount Snowdon in a walking challenge to raise vital funds for the Wyre Forest charity.

Whilst currently training hard for the challenge, Lucy said “We wanted to raise money for a local charity and both our families have received support from KEMP Hospice for which we will be forever grateful.” Their hard work and commitment to the challenge is all in memory of Lucy’s Dad, David and Sarah’s Mom, Sylvia. Sarah continued to say “Both our lives were completely turned upside down when I lost my Mom and Lucy her Dad. KEMP were able to support our families when we needed them, so we want to give back by fundraising and showing support for them”

Taking on the walk on Saturday 30th April, Lucy and Sarah have set up a Just Giving page which has already smashed their £100 target! Jayne Sargeant, Fundraiser at KEMP Hospice said “We are so grateful to both Lucy and Sarah. Taking on Snowdon is a huge challenge and we’re so grateful they chose to support KEMP. We’ll keep everything crossed for a lovely day for them to complete their challenge!”
