Shine a Light for local people living with life-limiting illnesses.
We’re asking you to help Shine a Light for KEMP Hospice this festive season and help us raise £11,000 – enough to fund two weeks of specialist hospice care here at KEMP.
You can donate in memory of someone you care for, someone who is much missed from your life, or simply to help support KEMP Hospice. Every donation you give helps us to provide expert nursing, emotional support and a safe, welcoming space for patients and families facing the toughest of times.
Why your support makes a difference:
In 2021 Richard Walker aged 54 was living a normal life of working, parenthood and routine. But soon, that would all change forever. Take a look at Richard’s Story below:
Richard has kindly allowed us to shine a light on his story this festive season, one of hope, courage and friendship. And by donating to KEMP Hospice in our 2025 Christmas appeal, you will be helping us to ensure we can continue to be there for people like Richard when they need us most.
There’s no minimum donation to Shine a Light for KEMP Hospice, but it may help you to know:
£35 could help to pay for:
three patients to enjoy a delicious 3-course festive lunch at KEMP Day Hospice.
£50 could help to pay for:
a one-to-one counselling session with our Children’s Bereavement Team.
£150 could help to pay for:
a specialist Day Hospice Nurse for a day.

When you make a donation to KEMP Hospice, you can choose to dedicate it to someone important in your life. We will add your dedication to our virtual Christmas tree* so you can see their name and share online with your family and friends.
Shine a Light Christmas Concert
Enjoy an evening of music thanks to the beautiful sounds of Kidderminster Male Choir. Our special concert promises an evening of festive fun and time to reflect as we enjoy the beautiful music of Christmas.

Time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm – Doors open from 7pm.

Each donation to our Shine a Light appeal entitles you to one free ticket to the concert, so please bring your donation confirmation email with you for entry.
