Christmas Tree Collection & Recycling

Friday 9th and Saturday 10th January 2026

We’re here to help with the big Christmas clean up as our Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling returns!

We’re here to help with the big Christmas clean up as our Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling returns on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th January 2026!

After the festive season, disposing of your real Christmas tree can be a hassle. That’s where we step in! Our team of volunteers will collect your real Christmas tree and recycle it responsibly – all while supporting KEMP Hospice. By donating and recycling with us, you’re helping to provide vital care for those who need it most in our community.

Let’s start the New Year by doing good together!

The smell of the pine needles, the lovely lights and the beautiful baubles, a real Christmas tree can be a serious showstopper for your Christmas celebrations each year. But what do you do when it’s time to take down the tree and clear away after Christmas?

That’s where we can help. We’ll have a team of volunteers waiting in the wings to come and collect your real Christmas tree and take it away for recycling. To have your tree collected is simple:

Check your Postcode

Use our handy online postcode checker to see if we’re collecting in your area.

Register your tree with donation to KEMP

If we are collecting your area, register your tree with a donation to KEMP Hospice.

Leave your tree outside the night before

The night before we are due to collect your tree, please remove all decorations and any stands on the tree, and leave it outside your property.

Our Christmas Tree collection is one of the most important events in our calendar and each year and helps to raise thousands of pounds to support KEMP Hospice. The event is only possible thanks to the amazing teams of volunteers who give up their time to support us.

Do you have a van you could drive around the Wyre Forest to collect the trees? Do you know someone with a van who you could team up with? Are you a tree surgeon who could chip the trees once collected? The more volunteers we have, the more postcodes we can collect from, meaning we can raise even more funds for KEMP Hospice.

We just need you to commit to a few hours on either Friday 9th or Saturday 10th January 2026. If you think you might be able to help, or would like more information about volunteering, please contact our fundraising team via email or by calling 01562 756066

Christmas Tree Collection FAQ

Our Christmas tree collection service relies on the generous support of corporate businesses and volunteers who are dedicating their time and resources to collect and recycle trees in exchange for a donation of your choosing. This means that every penny of your donation goes directly to supporting KEMP Hospice, enabling us to sustain our specialised care and services.
