Wyre Forest charity KEMP Hospice are celebrating after being awarded Charity Business of the Year at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber Business Awards.
In a ceremony filled with celebration and recognition of business and industry throughout the region, KEMP Hospice are thrilled to have been selected winner amongst a competitive category of nominees.
Speaking after the ceremony on Thursday 13th June at Worcester Arena, Caroline Beech, KEMP Hospice CEO said “This award means the world to us. It reflects the hard work, dedication, and love that our staff, volunteers, and supporters pour into KEMP Hospice every single day, so that we can provide our free specialist care and support to patients, families and their carers who are experiencing life-limiting illnesses and bereavement. We are truly honoured to be recognised by the Chamber Business Awards and feel more inspired than ever to continue our mission of providing care and support to those who need it most”.
In the year where KEMP Hospice celebrates 55 years of providing free care and support to the Wyre Forest community, Caroline also reflects on the important role the community plays for the charity, “We couldn’t have achieved this without the unwavering support of our community. It’s the collective effort of everyone involved—our team, our volunteers, and our donors—that has made this possible and this award is for all of them”.
