Opening Our Doors to the Community
On Thursday 21st May 2026 we welcomed members of the local community to our Open Day at our hospice in Kidderminster, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about the wide range of specialist services and support available to people across Wyre Forest.
Throughout the day, guests were invited to explore the hospice, meet members of the KEMP team, and find out more about the compassionate care and support provided to people across Wyre Forest.
A Positive Response from Visitors
Speaking after the event, Caroline Beech, Chief Executive said “The day has been a great success, with approximately 70 people attending, and the feedback from visitors has been overwhelmingly positive. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our services, our values, and the difference KEMP makes to the Wyre Forest community every day.”
The Difference KEMP Makes
The Open Day highlighted the breadth of support available through KEMP Hospice, including Day Hospice services and Family Support and Bereavement Services. Visitors also had the chance to learn more about the many ways local people can support KEMP Hospice through fundraising, volunteering, donations, and events.
