TCS London Marathon 2026

Sunday 25th April 2027

Find out more about KEMP’s TCS London Marathon 2026 and how to register your interest for 2027!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our outstanding London Marathon runners Will, Rach, Rhys and Sam, along with our ballot runners Antony and Howard, who together raised over an amazing £23,000 for KEMP Hospice.

After receiving some fantastic applications, we selected four dedicated individuals to take on the challenge of the 2026 TCS London Marathon in support of local people facing life-limiting illness and bereavement. What followed was months of training, fundraising and determination, culminating in an unforgettable achievement both on and off the course.

The true headline is the incredible amount they raised. Thanks to their hard work, commitment and the generosity of their supporters, more than £23,000 was raised for KEMP Hospice, helping us continue providing specialist care and support to patients, families and carers across the Wyre Forest and Tenbury Wells.

KEMP Hospice's Marathon Heroes, Rachel, Rhys, Will and Sam

Will ran in memory of a relative who benefited from KEMP’s palliative care services, providing dignity and comfort to him and his young family in their hours of need. Will has completed marathons in the past, but London was a bucket list moment!

Rachel, our TikTok star, went from Couch to 5K to completing one of the world’s most famous marathons. She took on the challenge in memory of a close friend, inspiring supporters throughout her journey and more than doubling her fundraising target!

Rhys works for Harlow Timber, one of KEMP’s amazing charity partners. Rhys is passionate about hospice care and supporting the local community. He smashed the marathon in a time of 3 hours 25 minutes!

Sam, a long-time supporter of KEMP, completed the marathon in loving memory of his grandmother. Having already raised funds through events including the Santa Fun Run and half marathons, he continued his support in spectacular fashion with his huge crew of supporters!

Running 26.2 miles is an incredible achievement. Raising more than £23,000 while doing it is truly extraordinary.

Every pound raised is helping KEMP continue providing compassionate care and support to local people and their loved ones during some of life’s most difficult moments.

To everyone who donated, shared fundraising pages, offered encouragement or cheered from the sidelines – thank you. And to Will, Rachel, Rhys, Sam, Antony and Howard, thank you for representing #TeamKEMP so brilliantly. Your dedication and fundraising efforts have made a lasting difference to our community.

At KEMP Hospice, all our care and support services are provided free of charge. We rely on people who take part in our events to help fundraise and ensure our services remain free of charge now and in the future.

Each year, we must raise around £1.6 million and by signing up to our events, fundraising or sponsoring someone taking on a challenge in aid of KEMP, you will be helping to ensure we can continue to be there for people when they need us.
