Vacancy: Spiritual Care Coordinator
A vacancy has arisen for a Spiritual Care Coordinator to join our small and friendly team.
This is a truly special role within KEMP Hospice, a values-driven organisation. Primarily working within the Day Hospice Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the spiritual care and pastoral support to our patients, families and carers, volunteers and staff within the wider Hospice.
You will work with your own team of Spiritual Care Volunteers and contribute in the care planning of our patients, ensuring we always know the spiritual needs of each individual person, and we’re working to fulfil these.
However, we also want you to have involvement across the organisation, so excellent communication skills, approachability and generally having a supportive nature will be essential.
This role is a real opportunity for you to shine and to directly make a significant impact on the quality of the lives of the people we support.
Based in the heart of the Wyre Forest, KEMP Hospice offers specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life limiting conditions and bereavement.
From symptom control, complementary therapy, relaxation classes, carer support, hairdressing through to spiritual care, KEMP aims to support patient’s individual needs. KEMP services are provided in the hospice, in the community and in the home.
