KEMP Hospice opens new-look charity shop on Stourport High Street

Our new-look charity shop has officially opened on Stourport High Street!

KEMP Hospice have opened the doors to our newly refurbished shop on Stourport High Street, welcoming shoppers to discover a fresh new space, filled with pre-loved items helping to raise vital funds for the hospice charity.

The new shop which was officially opened by Mayor of Stourport Tim Berry on Thursday 5 November, marks the relocation of our former shop on Tan Lane to a more prominent High Street location. The move offers an exciting opportunity to welcome more shoppers, attract new supporters and raise funds for KEMP Hospice.

Following a full refit, the shop offers a varied selection of donated items, including clothing, accessories and a selection of pieces from KEMP Hospice’s Boutique range. Shoppers can enjoy discovering pre-loved finds while supporting a cause that makes a difference to people in their local community.

Helping to support KEMP Hospice

Items in the shop have been kindly donated to KEMP Hospice, and all profits raised will support our work.

At KEMP, we provide free-of-charge care and support to local people living with life-limiting conditions and their families across Wyre Forest.

Gary Barnes, Head of Retail at KEMP Hospice, said: “We’re delighted to open our new-look shop on Stourport High Street and welcome the community into our new space. Moving the shop gives us an exciting opportunity to reach more shoppers and supporters, and we’re looking forward to seeing the shop become part of the local High Street.”

Calling for Volunteers

Alongside welcoming shoppers, KEMP Hospice we’re also looking for volunteers to help run the new shop. “Volunteering is a great way to meet people, learn new skills and make a valuable contribution to a local charity.” Gary continues “Whether helping customers, sorting donations or keeping the shop looking its best, volunteers play a vital role in helping KEMP Hospice raise funds for our services.”
