Redspeed International tackled a gruelling Tough Mudder challenge, raising £2,392.74 for KEMP Hospice and Offmore Primary School.
Redspeed International Goes the Extra Mile for KEMP Hospice
A team from Kidderminster-based road safety technology company Redspeed International has gone the extra mile, taking on a gruelling 15km Tough Mudder challenge to raise money for two local causes, KEMP Hospice and Offmore Primary School.
The team tackled the challenge in August, facing mud, ice, water and a host of demanding obstacles as they pushed themselves outside their comfort zones while raising money for causes close to the local community.
Their efforts have raised an amazing £2392.74, which will be split between KEMP Hospice and Offmore Primary School.
“A tough day but an amazing experience”
Speaking about the challenge, Tia Allsopp from the Redspeed International team said:
“It was a tough day, but an amazing experience that we’ll remember for a long time! There was plenty of mud, some seriously challenging obstacles, a lot of teamwork and, thankfully, plenty of laughs along the way too.
“Everyone pushed themselves outside their comfort zones and it was brilliant to see how much we supported one another throughout the challenge. When you’re tired, cold and covered in mud, having your team around you makes such a difference.
“We took on Tough Mudder to raise money for two fantastic local causes, and we’re absolutely thrilled with the amount we’ve raised. To reach over £2,300 is an amazing achievement and we’re so grateful to everyone who donated and helped us along the way.”
Supporting local causes
We’re incredibly grateful to the whole Redspeed International team for choosing to support KEMP alongside Offmore Primary School. Taking on a challenge like Tough Mudder is a fantastic achievement in itself, and we’re so pleased that the team used it as an opportunity to make a difference to two local causes.
The £1,196.37 raised for KEMP Hospice will help us continue to provide free specialist care and support to local people living with a life-limiting illness, as well as their families and those who are bereaved.
A huge thank you to everyone at Redspeed International, and to everyone who donated and supported the team along the way. Your fundraising really does make a difference to local people and families across the Wyre Forest.
