We are delighted to share the exciting news that KEMP Hospice has won the poster competition at the Hospice UK Conference 2024!
Over 200 posters were on display at the conference this year, so we are absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as the winners!
The KEMP Hospice poster highlighted the work our Family Support & Bereavement Services team have been doing with Minecraft in counselling and was titled ‘Minecraft’s role in pre and post bereavement counselling for children and young people: an innovative approach at a hospice’.
Laurey Grennall, Head of Hospice Services said “We really were so thrilled to have our poster chosen as the winner. As evidenced by all the posters on display, so many organisations are doing incredible work. To have won is a real testament to the commitment our team has to innovation and advances in the care of the children and young people we support using Minecraft”.
The Hospice UK Conference, held this year in Glasgow from 26th to 28th November, is an important event in the hospice and palliative care calendar. It brings together teams from across the hospice network and gives an opportunity to discuss innovation, share best practices, and celebrate achievements in end-of-life care.
